Firstly, head to the Chrome Remote Desktop website to install the extension. During set up, you will need to enter your computer name as well as create a unique PIN. Make sure this is something memorable, as you will need it each time you need to remotely access your PC. Once you have this setup, download the Chrome Remote Desktop app on your phone. The app will list any devices that have remote access installed and you will be able to instantly connect.
Alternatively, you can install the desktop app in your browser via the Chrome Web Store. Once you have done this, you can launch the app and enable remote connections. You will also need to choose a PIN during set up.
